Tamari Shoyu / Japanese Dark Soy Sauce [1.8Litres / Bottle]


Tamari Soy Sauce is also known as our usual dark soy sauce - it is more rich and concentrated than normal soy sauce. Tamari Shoyu is basically made from fermented soybeans only - which gives itself a thicker consistency and more balanced flavoring.

Tamari Shoyu is often used as dipping sauce for sushi instead as it has a more balanced flavoring in which the saltiness is not so overwhelming. However, restaurant tend to mix Tamari Shoyu with Sashimi Shoyu for the customers ordering Sashimi and Sushi.
