As you can tell from the name, cooking sake also means cooking wine, except it's Japanese. The alcohol content in it is as low as below 13%; and after the cooking, all alcohol content would probably be burned and evaporated, so fear not of being drunk! And having this cooking sake added to your dishes, neither do you need to worry that it might spoil taste of the food with its alcohol taste or worry about all the astringency of seafood; this cooking sake does not have a strong alcoholic taste; instead, it can help to remove the astringency from the meat and seafood.
